Today, our recently renovated, family home has been redesigned to meet the needs of our newly wheelie dependant but independant son.  Our guests can also enjoy our flat open plan home.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or outside under the back pergola. You may bring your own food to enjoy at our outdoor area – we provide a mini refrigerator for your use.

Our home is a “no smoking” inside home with two designated areas for smokers outside – please dispose of your buts in the bins provided.

Graduated ramps,  paved or concrete paths and wide doorways have been created throughout our home.

Our two guest bedrooms have lockable folding doors providing security for your belongings during your stay.  We also provide an electronic gate controller for our guests to access our secure off street undercover parking area – shade in the sunny season and shelter in the green season.

Entry to our Swimming Pool is via  a locked security gate and fence, while access into the pool  is via a set of steps at the shallow end or a hydraulic lifter for guests who need assistance  to use our 60,000l saltwater chlorinated pool.

A better way to stay

Since the inception of our BnB concept, we have been Associate and later Full members of Hosted Accommodation Australia.  Carol is the current NT Board member representing other Hosted Accommodation small businesses in the Northern Territory.  We maintain our Accreditation as an Australian Tourist business.  hosted-accommodation-winner

During early 2015 our business achieved the Department of Health accreditation for our Kitchen as a commercial facility able to provide meals and food for sale.  This will allow us to develop a range of goodies during 2015.

2013, we were presented with the 2013 Northern Territory Disability Award for a non Government Business.

2014, we Won the NT Tourism Brolga Award for Hosted Accommodation in the Northern Territory.

2015, we are the Northern Territory Finalists in the Hosted Accommodation category of the Qantas Tourism Awards – winners were announced in Adelaide in April 2015 and we congratulate all who participated.
