Tariffs and Bookings

PLEASE NOTE  –  Our tariff will vary depending on the season of the year so if you plan to visit please check early to determine our projected costs during your proposed visit.

This is an upgraded system from our previous booking method and we are now operational.  This system promises to be more flexibility and will allow guests who are eligible for discounts and special offers to be sure they don’t miss out on the special rates or on any special deals.

bromeliad-tariffsBookings – particularly in the “dry” or golden season are generally for a minimum of two nights however to provide for our recent  guest requests, we have decided to take bookings for one night at an increased rate to cover laundry and cleaning costs.   Please contact us by email with your specific request – Carol will provide you with the information you require.

The Dry Season is the time to check our book now button to see the costs and availability for your selected visit.  Minimum stay in the Dry Season is two nights.

If you are an older traveler (Seniors Card Holder)  or a person with a disability, we are offering a 10% discount for your stay.  We have also introduced a special offer for guests staying for seven nights and pay only for six nights.  Please Note there is an alternate booking method for accommodation requests with these discounts so please contact us for the special information to book and claim your discount.

Our home has no steps or stairs so it  is suitable for couples, individuals,  persons who rely on their Manual Wheelchairs, walking frames or crutches etc  but our home is NOT suitable for motorised chairs – sorry  🙁

We now have a Sleepmaker Air Space folding bed available to add into the Kingfisher bedroom if you choose to have your child share the room with you however this will incur an extra $30 per night.  This bed is available on a first come first served basis as our maximum number of guests is 5.  You will need to contact us direct if you select to use the Air Space folding bed.

Check-in and Check-out times can be negotiated to coincide with your arrival in or departure from Darwin.

Bookings are recommended and confirmation requires payment in accordance with our booking process.  

Please Note, YOUR BOOKING WILL NOT BE HELD UNTIL IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY YOUR PAYMENT THROUGH OUR BOOK NOW BUTTON OR BY ANOTHER PROCESS DETERMINED BY THE OWNERS.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If for some unforeseen reason you have to cancel your booking, please be aware of the following:

Cancellation

*  two weeks prior to date of booking – all funds paid will be returned less $20 administration fee.

*  between two weeks and one week prior to the date of the booking – 50% of the funds paid will be returned.

*  4 days or less from the date of start of your booking – no funds returned.

EXCEPTION – Long weekends, proclaimed public holidays, (Easter, Christmas and New Year) or major NT events (National or International Games / Sporting Carnivals, Darwin Cup and V8 Supercars) no funds will be returned 2 weeks prior to the date of booking unless the vacancy is filled.  Then the funds paid less a $20 administration fee will be returned.

If the cancellation is the result of your decision to find an alternative venue and if the vacancy is not filled no funds will be returned.

Cyclone – in the event of a Tropical Low developing into a potential cyclone we will contact our clients to discuss the options available – this may include a refund of the deposit or rescheduling the visit.  However if the cyclone threat is minor guests may still wish to visit and experience the warm (YES Warm) torrential rain, thunderstorms and unforgettable lightning displays.  Should there be a power failure we are equipped with gas cooking and have a back up generator to keep the fans turning.

THE MANAGEMENT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE A FINAL DECISION IN RELATION TO THE ABOVE CANCELLATION POLICY.
